Who am I?
I'm a scrappy programmer, game designer, and builder that offers vibrant energy and a unique perspective from a multidisciplinary background. Jack of all trades, I can build a house, a piece of software, or a drone attachment. Game Design is my passion.

Early Life
I was raised in the woods of upstate New York, just outside of Ithaca. I grew up in an off the grid home my father built, powered by solar panels and a small wind turbine. I spent most of my childhood splashing around in our pond, going on hikes, cross country skiing if the snow was favorable, helping my dad with the latest construction project, or splitting wood for the winter season. As a family we tried to produce a lot of food ourselves, this meant growing fruits and vegetables, raising chickens, foraging in the woods and hunting deer. I was fortunate enough to go to a highschool that provided a lot of great opportunities such as Project Lead The Way(PLTW), a pre-engineering program that inspired me down my educational path. PLTW taught me about the design process, 3D modeling, the principles of engineering and manufacturing and business fundamentals. PLTW fueled my fire for creation and it is one of the reasons I do what I do today.
College
I studied at Earlham College starting in 2015 and graduating December of 2019 with a degree in Computer science. In addition to Computer Science I studied a wide variety of subjects among other things Physics, Mathematics, Business and Photography. Some of the numerous leadership roles I held while at Earlham included various Teaching Assistant positions within the computer science department, Rock Climbing Instructor, Captain of the Ultimate Frisbee Team, Captain of the Men’s Volleyball team and Organizer of the largest social group on campus.

Post Undergrad
After Undergrad I moved to Pittsburgh, PA! I started working as a Unity Developer for Digital Arc Systems(DAS). DAS is a company that mostly specializes in contract game development but also creates software to improve the tabletop RPG experience. Taking the game Travellers and developing tools to create characters, keep track of stats and equipment as well as much more.

I then went to American University to get my Masters Of Arts in Game Design!
What I do For Fun
My absolute passion has always been playing Ultimate Frisbee and it has been the thing I miss most during the pandemic. I also enjoy indoor rock climbing, volleyball, any kind of board game (especially Settlers of Catan), hiking, photography, cooking and dogs. I really love dogs.
